The 2024-29 Strategic Plan is founded on three core guiding statements: the ISF Vision, Mission, and
Core Values. These three statements describe the ideal future (Vision), the tasks undertaken to achieve that future (Mission), and the way in which all members of the ISF community work together to achieve that ideal future (Core Values). These three guiding statements have been in place guiding ISF’s developmental trajectory for 15 years; they are widely recognized, understood, and embraced by the ISF community; they continue to serve ISF as the foundational principles that inform and direct all our endeavors. A number of key supporting principles and definitions are derived directly from these statements.
